What we collect
When you sign in, we store your email address and, if you use Google, your name and profile picture. We use this to identify your account and send you transactional emails (magic links, signup notifications, reminders).
When a participant claims a slot on a signup sheet, we collect their name and, optionally, their email address. That email is used only to send them a reminder the day before the event.
How we use it
- To run your account and deliver the service
- To send transactional emails you expect (magic links, claim notifications, reminders)
- To process payments via Stripe
- To understand how the product is used via PostHog (anonymized usage analytics)
We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails.
Third-party services
We use the following services to run the product:
- Neon — database hosting (your data is stored here)
- Stripe — payment processing (we never see your card number)
- Resend — email delivery
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in
- PostHog — anonymized product analytics
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Data retention
Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. Participant claims on your signups are also deleted.
Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@organizesignups.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. Public signup pages store a small cookie in your browser so you can see which slots you already claimed — no account required. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will email registered users before the change takes effect.
